SURF CITY SMACK DOWN – SOUTHERN REDFISH CUP October 9–10, 2026 Hosted at Marina Joe’s 209 N New River Drive Surf City, NC 28445 Friday, October 9 – Captain’s Dinner & Meeting 5:00–7:00 PM at Marina Joe’s Saturday, October 10 – Redfish Tournament The Surf City Smack Down is open to all anglers, with no membership fee required. It gives local and visiting anglers the opportunity to compete alongside some of the region’s top redfish anglers. Tournament Highlights: Two-person teams Two heaviest legal slot redfish determine the winning teams Artificial baits only $450 team entry Optional $100 Big Fish entry Payouts, trophies and bragging rights Open competition — anyone can enter and anyone can win The event is presented by East Coast Sports, with Marina Joe’s serving as the host location.
