Visitors will find helpful information on the tourism website, visitpender.com. The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism provides a website with useful visitor information at topsailchamber.org. The Burgaw Visitor Center’s information is available at burgawnc.gov.

Moores Creek National Battlefield also features a visitors’ center for anyone visiting Southeast North Carolina’s only national park.

Pender County and its six municipalities (Atkinson, Burgaw, Surf City, St. Helena, Topsail Beach, and Watha) have many attractions, including film locations, pristine beaches, a world-renown sea turtle hospital, and historical sites.

Pender County Tourism is served by the Pender County Tourism Development Authority, a board of volunteers who promote the county. They direct their contractors, the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism regarding marketing.
