The beautifully renovated Burgaw Community House is the perfect location for your next family reunion, birthday party, meeting, or wedding reception. The Community House accommodates up to 50 guests seating, 100 standing.

Come take a tour of the Burgaw Train Depot. It is believed to be the oldest train depot in the state of North Carolina, dating back to 1850. Recently renovated, the depot contains the Burgaw Area Chamber of Commerce and Railroad Museum. So take a step back in time enjoy the museum and take a tour. The kids are sure to love the rail car and loading dock. The building is also on the National Register of Historic Places and the Civil War Trail. We have rental space that includes a 2,000 sq ft banquet room that can accommodate up to 250 people, 120 with tables and chairs. There is also a Conference Room, sound and video equipment and kitchen.

Patriots Hall is on the grounds of Moores Creek National Battlefield. It is a beautiful, newly renovated meeting hall perfect for specials events, reunions and weddings. The capacity is 130 people max. Renters have access to up to 20 tables and 120 chairs. There are restrooms available. There is a 150.00 dollar reservation fee associated with renting the hall and it is by permit only. Please visit their website and download the online reservation form for more information and to reserve the hall today. You can also rent the picnic shelter or ask a park employee about other options or arrangments. They will be able to help you create a special day.

The Surf City Welcome Center has been home to the Town's tourism office since mid-2008 and continues to greet visitors to the commercial center of Topsail Island. The main portion of the building, The Surfside Center, is offered for lease to both visitors and islanders as a gathering space for meetings, reunions, weddings, private parties, bridal and baby showers, birthdays and anniversaries, off-site retreats for business and virtually any social or business function imaginable. Approximately 1,800 square feet of space is available, as is a prep kitchen, a 650 square foot outdoor deck, and parking for approximately 35 automobiles. In 2011, the Town added a crossover to the beach for the sole use of those renting the facility. Both the building and the adjacent beach are handicap accessible. The room accommodates 110 guests seated at tables, and 265 guests seated classroom or auditorium style.
