The festival features a juried Artists’ and Crafts Court with over 100 regional artists displaying and selling their work. Topsail BeachThe NC Blueberry Festival celebrates the historic, economic, and cultural significance of blueberries in the Southeastern region of North Carolina. The North Carolina Blueberry Festival is a great source of local pride, with the entire community involved in promoting Burgaw in its finest shade of blue with fresh blueberries from local blueberry farms and fresh BBQ. Shop downtown Burgaw for special Blueberry décor, gifts, & foods all created and sold by our hometown merchants. Cap off your first night in Blueberry Town by enjoying live music, the beer & wine tent, and dancing. Events include a BBQ Cookoff, a 7 am 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, the 8 am Tour De Blueberry Bike Ride, kids area, all-day entertainment and live music, a car show, scholarship awards, and blueberry queens. The Festival grounds open at 9 am with lots of your favorite vendors selling food, homemade décor, jewelry, gifts, leatherwork, woodwork, candles, soaps and so much more! PO Box 1554The NC Spot Festival is Pender County’s longest-standing festival celebrating tradition where the coast of Pender County celebrates one of its most abundant fish types, the Spot! The Spot Festival is a popular festival with Spot Fish Plates, Bands, Entertainment, Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts, Blow-up rides, and Hampstead's largest Firework display! Proceeds benefit the local Topsail Area Schools & the Pender EMS and Fire! With thousands in attendance and over 6,000 "Spot" dinner plates served annually, the festival is the largest fundraiser for the Topsail schools and the community. There is also an annual scholarship pageant held as queens represent the festival each year. Every year, the residents of Hampstead celebrate their history with the North Carolina Spot Festival. Hampstead is one of Pender County’s most growing communities. It prides itself on being the "Seafood Capital of the Carolinas,” a friendly pride that is evident with the large welcome sign and home to the NC Spot Festival!
