Pender County, home to many blueberry producers, is one of the largest growing locations in NC. The Town of Burgaw is home to the North Carolina Blueberry Festival and all things blueberry. With the festival being held annually the third weekend in June, we celebrate Blueberry Week throughout Burgaw and Pender County communities with local activities leading up to the traditional festival. The NC Blueberry Festival will celebrate its 20th Anniversary this year!
