22nd Annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival

Celebrate 22 Years of Blueberry Fun at the North Carolina Blueberry Festival!

Join us this summer as the North Carolina Blueberry Festival returns for its 22nd annual celebration in charming downtown Burgaw, centered around the town’s historic courthouse square.

Festival Weekend Highlights:
  • Kickoff Concert – Friday June 20: The fun begins that evening at 7 PM with a free concert featuring the legendary beach music group The Tams.
  • Festival Day – Saturday June 21:Tthe festivities run from 9 AM to 10 PM, offering a full day of fun for all ages.
This beloved event is free to the public and showcases:
  • Over 175 artisan vendors
  • Fresh, locally grown blueberries
  • A variety of children’s activities
  • Beer and wine gardens
  • Delicious food options
  • Live performances, including a headlining set by the crowd-favorite Chairmen of the Board—and much more!

Festivalgoers are invited to participate in a variety of exciting activities, including:
  • The popular Blueberry Recipe Contest
  • A scenic Blueberry Farm Tour
  • The energetic 5K Run/Walk
  • The family-friendly Tour de Blueberry cycling event
  • A classic Car & Truck Show
For the comfort and safety of all attendees, pets are not permitted at the festival. However, service animals specifically trained to assist individuals with disabilities are always welcome.

The North Carolina Blueberry Festival is a heartfelt celebration of the region’s rich agricultural heritage, honoring the economic and cultural importance of blueberries in southeastern North Carolina. Proceeds from the event support scholarships for students in blueberry-producing counties—Bladen, Duplin, New Hanover, Pender, and Sampson—as well as educational programs, school-based medical clinics, sports initiatives, and vital services like Meals on Wheels.

Presented by the North Carolina Blueberry Festival Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, this event is made possible thanks to the dedication of more than 100 community volunteers.
