Blueberry Pancake Breakfast Returns this Month

Burgaw, NC – After a three-year hiatus, the North Carolina Blueberry Festival Association is happy to host its annual blueberry pancake breakfast fundraiser once again. The breakfast will take place at the Burgaw Fire Station, located at 109 N Walker St., on Saturday, Feb. 25. Blueberry pancakes, sausage, and a beverage of choice will be served from 8 – 11 a.m. for $8 per person – children under the age of 4 years old eat free. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door with a takeout option available at the Burgaw Train Depot, 115 S Dickerson St.

The Blueberry Pancake Breakfast is a fundraiser for the NC Blueberry Festival, which will celebrate its 20th year June 16-17 in Historic Downtown Burgaw. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast, as well as the festival itself, go toward the NC Blueberry Festival Association’s academic scholarship program, which provides financial awards to high school seniors in southeastern North Carolina toward their first year in college.

This event kicks off the 2023 festival season and offers a place of gathering and fellowship for the entire community. Join us for this special event to support a great cause - you may see the chief of police flipping flapjacks or you could be served by a local high school student. To purchase tickets in advance or for any inquiries, please contact the NC Blueberry Festival office by phone at 910-259-2007 or email at info@ncblueberryfestival.com.
