Visit Poplar Grove Plantation, the farmers' market kicks off their season on the front lawn of the beautiful, Historic Poplar Grove on Wednesdays each week, open from 8 am -1pm. The Farmers’ Market at Poplar Grove provides an opportunity for local growers and producers to sell their goods directly to consumers. The plantation has history of peanut farming, Civil War, and Gullah Geechee Heritage.

Drive to Burgaw and see where shows like Revolution, Under the Dome, and countless movies were filmed. Shop & dine while letting the locals tell you about filming!

Experience Moores Creek National Battlefield, both the History Trail and Tar Heel Trails offer great views of park resources, and a glimpse into the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge. Park visitors can pick up their Passport stamp and park brochure, as well as brochures for other historic sites around the area.
