The Annual Pender Spring Fest

The Annual Pender Spring Fest held every first Saturday in May is a celebration of community, creativity, and local pride, highlighting the rich culture and talent found throughout Pender County, all held in Downtown Burgaw on the Courthouse Square.

The Pender Spring Fest is a long-standing festival focused on a celebration of all things homemade, handmade, or homegrown by locals who live and work all within Pender County. From delicious homemade jams and baked goods to beautifully crafted handmade crafts and homegrown produce, the festival offers a diverse range of locally made items.

Local groups, schools, and organizations actively participate in the festival, adding to the community spirit and showcasing the talent and creativity present in Pender County. Pender County Schools student art showcased on the square is a large focal point of the festival.

Get those dancing shoes on, the festivities begin with a lively street dance held on the Friday night. That’s right, do you love to line dance, join us in downtown Burgaw along our Mainstreet.

The festival also kicks off at 8 AM on Saturday morning with a family fun run around downtown along the sidewalks and walking trail.
